Polaroid jackpot

I've had a close relationship with Polaroid since my dad snapped a picture of a Lego ship I built for a competition when I was about 7 but only more recently have I really discovered how amazing a creation the polaroid cameras and images really are.

Today I received these in the post. I already have a One- Step close-up but its always good to add stuff to my collection. More excitingly was the very out of date 600 film that came with the pair which I'll probably run through my SX-70 and get some beautiful results.

The jackpot came when I stumbled into a junk shop in Brighton looking for classic ray ban's and came across this badboy. Its the one camera I needed to add to my collection allowing to hook up a sync lead and shoot proper flash lit images. Not only does it have some black and white film already inside but the complete instructions, the dated imagery is great.

I couldn't finish without mentioning that a group of daring and genius minds have gotten together to try and revive the production of polaroid film for 2010. Check out the project here.
